Lately, during my regular morning routine I always get emails about stolen puppies from around the country.  Cars stolen with puppies locked inside, pet stores being robbed of very expensive puppies, and puppies snatched from their very own yards seem to be daily occurrences.  Whether the state of the economy is the reason for the rise in puppy snatchers, or because it’s just we never paid enough attention before, this is happening and probably has been for a long time.

For all dog owners, especially those who own toy breeds and purebreds, I found a great article with TONS of tips that can help prevent your canine from being abducted by a stranger, and what to do if your dog IS stolen.
