We’re a BIG Chicago White Sox fan, and when we came across this story we just HAD to post it!
Our favorite pitcher, Mark Buehrle, who pitched a perfect game last year, was recently in the news for fitting the bill to save the life of a surrendered dog that had been shot with a hunting arrow. Mark and his wife, Jamie, agreed to pay the medical bills for “Shelby” after they heard about her story and situation on Facebook. Mark & Jamie Buehrle are big animal lovers, volunteer at Hope Animal Rescue, and even started “Sox for Strays”, a monthly adoption program that features homeless animals during the season.
